Project Description:
Our client, a major battery manufacturer, needed a safe and durable access solution for a recessed section of their facility where essential process equipment required regular service and maintenance. National Acid Proofing was asked to evaluate the issue and develop a long-term fix that would provide reliable access while maintaining full chemical resistance in a demanding industrial environment.
After assessing several options, our team recommended removing the existing flooring and constructing a new acid brick ramp. We designed the layout to ensure proper elevation and drainage, completed the necessary demolition, formed and poured the new ramp structure, and installed a full acid brick lining system.
The finished installation provides secure and convenient access for maintenance personnel and a highly durable, corrosion-resistant surface engineered to withstand the harsh conditions of a battery production facility.
